Your SQL never leaves your browser

SQL Lineage is a browser-only tool. When you paste SQL or upload .sql files, all parsing and graph rendering happen locally in your browser tab using JavaScript. Your SQL content, file names, and the resulting lineage graphs are never uploaded to, transmitted to, or stored on any server we control. We have no ability to see, collect, or retain the SQL you analyze.

Information we do not collect

• We do not require an account, sign-up, or login.
• We do not collect, sell, or share your SQL, schemas, or business logic.
• We do not use tracking cookies to build advertising profiles.

Local storage

The Service may store small preferences — such as your light/dark theme choice — in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Hosting and server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical request data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages served) in server logs for security and reliability. These logs do not include the contents of your SQL, which is never sent to the server in the first place.

Analytics
