These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Power BI Model Auditor (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Power BI Model Auditor is a free, browser-only tool that parses a Power BI file you provide and renders documentation, dependency diagrams, and a health audit locally in your browser. All processing happens on your device; we do not receive or store the models you analyze, as described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Process content you do not have the right to process, or use the Service in a way that infringes the rights of others.

3. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Model parsing and audit checks are best-effort; the generated documentation, diagrams, and fix scripts may be incomplete or incorrect for some inputs. You are responsible for reviewing results — and testing any generated scripts on a copy of your model — before relying on them.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the Service.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by its creator and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your Power BI files and any content you provide remain entirely yours; these Terms grant us no rights over them.

6. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
